I'm not talking about things like bots or such, but the UI things I"ve heard about, % markers for enemy HP, things to help complete cartographer and such. I hear people mention them from time to time so curious.

Yes visual mods are allowed, there are several threads on this. Visual modding must be done with the help of Textmod.

Search for either Modding or Textmod in The Riverside Inn or Community Works.

How is the best way to avoid Keyloggers or other such thigns? Thats the main concern I have as I know thats always a danger.

Download only from the official wiki, and if you're still afraid of keyloggers scan them.

Best way would be to make the mods yourself. Other than that look for mods that other players have approved as they probably won't have keyloggers if it has mass approval.

Popular antivirus/spyware software are still ill equipped to detect many key loggers as to Nortons/AVG etc they operationaly look very similar to a few legit functions of windows. Dont dl and execute 3rd party apps and youve nothing to worry about.
